Cereal boxes into gift baskets
The two pandas presiding over this festive Purim basket began life as the mascots for Panda Puff Cereal: We turned the box “inside out” by carefully opening all of its glued seams. We then cut around the pandas and modified the rest of the box to showcase their furry faces. I reglued the box (hot glue worked fast), and then handed it over to my daughter Hannah, age 11, for decorating. Here’s a Chex box, lightly de-branded with black tape and office dots: Boxes can be used to deliver holiday snacks and goodies, or as open storage units for games, pencils, and supplies. |
