Boox: books made out of boxes

At a recent Book Party, we made “boox” — small books made out of cereal boxes. A simple pamphlet stitch attaches a signature of pages to the cover. Kids enjoyed rebranding the covers with paper, labels, colored tape, and the ever-beloved office dot. Then they filled them with stories of their own devising!

I stashed our prototypes in a cardboard beer caddy debranded with squares of mulberry paper, which turned translucent with a dose of mod-podge above and below.
