Our kids enjoyed a long afternoon of drawing and painting on inexpensive purses purchased from OrientalTrading.com. Above, Ruby used Sharpies to create a crowd of funny characters.

Hannah drew a flower motif that she had also applied with acrylic paint to a t-shirt.
