At a craft store or hardware store, you can get little paper tags with a metal rim (normally used for identifying keys and for scrapbooking). These sturdy little medallions make great tags for your stuffed animals. (The plain white ones work best.) Write your creature’s name, draw a picture, make up a phone number, or invent a secret icon. Tie on the tag with ribbon or yarn.

More Ideas: Add a leash with a long piece of ribbon. Create ID cards, drivers’ licenses, or passports. Design birth certificates, hospital records, and diet and exercise programs.

Designed by Isabel, Lucy, and Ruby, ages 6 and 8
